Formula 1 Races Are Headed to Movie Theaters Across the U.S.

Formula 1 fans in America will soon watch select races live in IMAX theaters nationwide.

The Miami Grand Prix will mark the first of five Formula 1 races to be broadcast live on IMAX screens across the United States.

Starting with the Miami race on May 3, American F1 fans will have the chance to experience select 2026 races in a theater setting. Each screening will run about 150 minutes and include a 15-minute pre-race show, the full Grand Prix, and the podium celebration. Tickets are expected to cost around $30.

In addition to Miami, IMAX theaters will also show the Monaco Grand Prix, British Grand Prix, Italian Grand Prix, and the United States Grand Prix later in the season.
