“GTA 6 Trailer 3 is finally here.” That’s the announcement millions of players are hoping to hear. Unfortunately, one well-known insider believes fans may be waiting a little longer. More importantly, he doesn’t expect Rockstar to reveal the trailer during any of the major gaming events coming up in the next few weeks.

With Summer Game Fest, State of Play, and Nintendo Direct all approaching, speculation has ramped up across the gaming comunity. Many fans are convinced that Trailer 3 is right around the corner. On the surface, that theory makes a lot of sense. Large industry events are usually the perfect stage for major announcements.

However, Rockstar has never really played by the usual rules.

Reece “Kiwi Talkz” Reilly, who has shared accurate GTA 6 information in the past, recently suggested that Rockstar is unlikely to debut the next trailer at any of these showcases. In fact, he believes the company will probably wait until those events are over before releasing anything new.

The reasoning is fairly straightforward. A new GTA 6 trailer would instantly dominate headlines across the gaming world. Every other announcement would be pushed into the background, and Rockstar likely has no interest in overshadowing the rest of the industry. Instead, the studio would probably prefer to give GTA 6 its own moment in the spotlight rather than share attention with dozens of other reveals.

There’s also the matter of precedent. Rockstar rarely uses major gaming conventions or presentations to unveil its biggest projects. Historically, the company tends to make announcements on its own schedule, often dropping news with little warning. Because of that, Trailer 3 appearing out of nowhere seems far more likely than a reveal during one of the upcoming events.

While this remains speculation, the theory lines up with Rockstar’s long-established approach to marketing.

A third GTA 6 trailer is almost certainly on the way, but late June or early July now appears to be a more realistic timeframe for its debut.

At the same time, Rockstar continues working to prevent additional leaks. Reports suggest the company has been feeding different pieces of false information to developers involved with GTA 6 in an effort to identify who might be sharing confidential details. It’s a tactic that sounds like it came straight from an intelligence agency handbook.

Even without official updates, GTA 6 remains one of the most talked-about games in the world. That’s why fans should approach every rumor with caution. At this stage, separating fact from fiction can be dificult, especially given the enormous hype surrounding the project.

Rockstar is expected to ramp up its marketing campaign this summer, which means more details should emerge in the coming months. Most signs point to Trailer 3 arriving before long, but for now, fans will need a little more patience before the next big reveal.
