Geely has unveiled a new sedan under its Galaxy sub-brand in China — the A7 EM-i model with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. It boasts an ultra-low fuel consumption rate of 2 liters per 100 km and a total range exceeding 2100 km.

The Galaxy A7 is 4918 mm in length with a wheelbase of 2845 mm. The powertrain consists of a 112 horsepower 1.5-liter gasoline engine paired with an electric motor, delivering a combined output of 350 hp. Depending on the modification, the range varies from 1500 km to 2100 km according to the Chinese CLTC cycle.

The interior of the new model features a two-spoke steering wheel, a digital instrument panel, and a large central screen for the multimedia system. Control of certain functions, including climate system settings, is handled via physical switches.

The expected price of the Galaxy A7 is about 100,000 yuan (approximately $14,000). Further details about the model and pricing will be disclosed later.
