Three-seater Bentley EXP 15: a glimpse into the future — a new style concept

The Bentley concept car with a door on one side, a van-like roof, and a swiveling seat—is no joke, it’s the EXP 15.

This electric show car will not become a production model in the coming years. Bentley engineers immediately explained: the EXP 15 — is a concept car that demonstrates the brand's development vector and tests public reaction to new ideas. Notably, this model was the first to feature the company's updated logo, which was introduced a week earlier.

The EXP 15 — is not an SUV, despite the SUV trend. It is a fresh interpretation of a sports sedan with nods to the classics. The vertical front end, elongated hood, and smooth roofline are reminiscent of the 1930 Bentley Speed Six Gurney Nutting Sportsman, known as the Blue Train. Incidentally, contrary to legend, this car did not race a train — the story turned out to be a myth.

The concept, over five meters long, features an asymmetric design. On the driver’s side — one door, and on the passenger’s side — two doors plus a sliding roof section. Together, they create a vast opening for comfortable access. The rear is styled like a liftback: a massive door opens access not only to the trunk but also to a fold-down tailgate, which can be used as a picnic area. The additional front trunk opens with two flaps, like cars from the early 20th century.

For now, the EXP 15 exists only as a model with no fully developed interior. The interior is presented in renders — a mixture of digital screens and classic control elements. The screens of the front panel can display background textures that mimic wood or fabric. The trim includes traditional materials: British textiles and natural veneers.

The cabin is designed for three people. The passenger seat is adjustable: it can slide forward, move back to make room for luggage, or recline for long journeys. For ease of exit, the seat rotates 45 degrees.

Technical details remain undisclosed. It is known that the concept has all-wheel drive. However, the first production electric Bentley expected in 2026 will be different — it will be a crossover. Meanwhile, the EXP 15 will serve as a source of inspiration for the brand’s future models.
