Renault unveils new Boreal crossover based on Dacia

The automotive group Renault officially unveiled the new compact crossover Boreal. The car is built on the Dacia Bigster platform. The novelty will be offered with a 1.3-liter turbo engine.

The automotive group Renault officially unveiled the new compact crossover Boreal. The car is built on the Dacia Bigster platform. The novelty will be offered with a 1.3-liter turbo engine and will be produced in Brazil and Turkey.

The dimensions of the car: length — 4556 mm, width — 1841 mm, height — 1650 mm. Wheelbase size — 2702 mm.

 

The interior of the model is designed in Renault's signature style: the digital instrument panel and multimedia system are combined into a single horizontal plane, with upgraded trim elements and controls.

The equipment list of the Boreal includes electric front seats, a wireless charging compartment, dual-zone climate control, and a Harman Kardon audio system with ten speakers.

At launch, the Boreal will be offered with a 1.3 TCe gasoline turbo engine, paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The engine power varies depending on the market — from 138 to 156 hp. Drive — front. An all-wheel-drive version will appear later and will be equipped with a hybrid system.
