CUPRA is entering the final stretch in the development of its new 100% electric vehicle — the CUPRA Raval. This highly anticipated electric car was spotted during road testing in daylight and on open roads. The new Raval, which will be manufactured in Spain, will debut at the Munich Auto Show in 2025.

The test vehicle was caught by "spy" cameras on the roads of Southern Europe. This time, the manufacturer opted to conceal the body of the electric crossover with tight camouflage protection. Previously, there were images circulating online without it. Overall, the appearance of the crossover is already known. It will inherit the design from the Cupra UrbanRebel Concept car.

This is the most anticipated novelty from CUPRA, and it's just around the corner. The successful Spanish brand continues to work at full capacity on the development of its new electric car — the CUPRA Raval. This model is set to play a key role in the electrification process and the transition to fully electric mobility, a commitment made by the company.

The development of the new Raval is nearing completion. All engineering power of CUPRA, and therefore SEAT S.A., is fully utilized to prepare the model for launch within the set timeframe. As mentioned later in the article, the official premiere of the new Raval will take place by the end of this year — just a few months away. And to make the wait more exciting, there's nothing better than once again peeking behind the scenes of the development process.

The crossover will feature an elegant yet modern exterior with a sporty character. Rival will be the first Cupra model built on the MEB Entry platform from the Volkswagen Group, designed for compact electric cars. This "chassis" will also form the basis for the VW ID.2 and Skoda Epiq. In the Cupra lineup, the novelty will be positioned below the Born model.
