Essentially, all automotive industry development revolves around the simple game of 'who has more'. The new Corvette ZR1X hypercar enters this game with brand-exceeding numbers: 1267 hp and 1319 Nm.

This is the total output of the model's hybrid powertrain. It consists of a 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine located behind the cabin, rotating the rear wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch robot. At the same time, the front wheels are powered by an electric motor. There’s also a 1.9 kW traction battery located in the central tunnel, charging either automatically during regenerative braking or forcibly via the Charge+ button.

The most powerful 'Vette in history is logically also the fastest. When activating the Push-to-Pass function, delivering maximum power from the drivetrain, the hypercar accelerates to 60 mph (97 km/h) in less than 2 seconds. It covers a quarter mile in under nine seconds, reaching a speed of 241 km/h at the finish. The manufacturer has not yet disclosed data on the maximum possible speedometer figures. Interestingly, at speeds over 250 km/h, the electric motor disengages, converting the AWD car into RWD.

In the extreme driving mode PTM Pro, the driver can disable stability control and traction control. For better control and handling, hypercar owners have the ZTK Performance package prepared, featuring track tires, stiff springs, and carbon-fiber aerodynamic components generating up to 540 kg of downforce.

Additionally, the Corvette ZR1X has the largest brakes in model history, featuring 16.5-inch Alcon carbon-ceramic discs with 10-piston calipers for the front axle and 6-piston for the rear. With such a system, drivers should be ready for significant deceleration forces of up to 1.9 g!

The predicted price for the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X is $250,000.
