Ford CEO Jim Farley has announced the company’s plans to create an off-road supercar producing around 1,000 horsepower, designed for high-speed runs across desert terrain.

Still in its early development stages, the project offers a fresh approach that builds on Ford’s long-standing expertise in off-road vehicle engineering.

The concept combines extreme power with durability, aiming to deliver both comfort and safety on sand and rugged landscapes.

To bring the new supercar to life, Ford could draw on technologies already proven in the F-150 Raptor and the Bronco — models that have shown their strength in desert racing. This vehicle is expected to rival the world’s most powerful production cars while putting a strong emphasis on off-road capability.

For now, the project remains at the concept stage, and no technical details have been released. Farley described it as bold and fully aligned with Ford’s brand spirit.
