Cadillac will repair the Escalade IQ’s rear suspension free of charge.
General Motors has issued a new service bulletin for the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ electric SUV.
The bulletin addresses a potential issue with the vehicle’s rear lower suspension arms. According to the update, bolts in this critical suspension component may not have been fully tightened during assembly. Left uncorrected, the problem could affect suspension performance and wheel alignment.
To fix the issue, GM instructs dealers to adjust the rear wheel alignment and then torque all four bolts on the rear lower suspension arms to the specified 369 pound-feet (500 Nm). The repair does not require any replacement parts.
The bulletin applies to 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ models currently in dealer inventory as well as vehicles already delivered to customers.
GM emphasized that dealers must not release affected vehicles until the repair is completed. This restriction covers new, used, and GM Certified Pre-Owned models, as well as courtesy loaners and demo vehicles.
The company also noted that customers will not need to make special service visits, since the work is intended to be performed during routine maintenance.
