Tesla continues to expand its charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. The recently introduced V4 Supercharger is now rolling out across the U.S.

According to the company, the new station can deliver up to 500 kW of power during charging. When connected to Tesla’s Semi electric truck, the output can reach as high as 1,200 kW. Each V4 unit is capable of charging two vehicles at once, and thanks to its high power density, charging speeds are several times faster than before.

Max de Zegher, who leads Tesla’s charging infrastructure division, emphasized that the V4 stations are particularly important for transportation companies adopting the Semi. The truck requires large amounts of energy that must be replenished frequently to ensure reliable logistics. Tesla Semi is already being considered a strong alternative to diesel-powered trucks.

Tesla engineers haven’t forgotten about passenger EV owners either. With wider deployment of the new stations in the near future, everyday city driving will become even more convenient for Tesla drivers.
