Geely Holding Group is solidifying its presence in the global auto market, selling nearly 3 million vehicles in the first nine months of 2025 — a 29% increase over the same period last year. The most striking growth came from electrified models, which now account for 54% of total sales. The company sold more than 1.5 million new energy vehicles — up 68% year over year. The momentum continued into the third quarter, with over one million units sold, more than half of them powered by new energy sources.

Geely Automobile Holdings Co., Ltd. also reported robust growth: 2.17 million vehicles sold in the first three quarters, a 46% increase. Electrified models — including Geely Galaxy, Lynk & Co, and Zeekr — exceeded 1.16 million units. The Geely Galaxy line stood out with sales more than tripling to 875,000. Lynk & Co and Zeekr also saw strong gains. The company is rapidly expanding its lineup with new models such as the Lynk & Co 900, Galaxy M9, and Zeekr 9X, helping Geely strengthen its position in the premium segment.

Traditional fuel-powered vehicles remain an important part of the business: the Geely Star series sold over 910,000 units in China. Beyond automotive manufacturing, Geely continues to push technological boundaries. In September, the company launched another Geely Constellation satellite, completing the first phase of its global satellite network. This system now provides near-global connectivity, and Geely’s latest models come equipped with satellite communication capabilities — a sign of the company’s growing technological ambitions.

On the international front, Geely’s exports reached nearly 300,000 vehicles in the first three quarters, with electric models making up an increasing share. New Geely vehicles are entering markets in the UK, Australia, the UAE, and several European countries. Volvo, a Geely subsidiary, sold more than half a million vehicles during the same period, nearly half of them electrified. Polestar also posted higher sales, while Geely’s commercial vehicle division recorded nearly 50% growth. In September, the company launched a unique alcohol-hydrogen-powered vessel — a milestone for the maritime industry.

In 2025, Geely continues to integrate its operations under its “One Geely” strategy, uniting key divisions and announcing a major share buyback — underscoring its confidence in the company’s future.
