Priced at an additional $2,495 over the standard GT, the California Special is heading to dealerships, featuring distinctive Rave Blue accents.
For the 2026 model year, Ford is adding even more flair to its top-tier Mustang Mach-E GT with a special edition package that nods to its heritage. This California Special option, which costs $2,495 extra, is now en route to showroom floors, setting itself apart with unique Rave Blue styling cues.
You'll find this bold blue color highlighting the GT/CS logos on the carbonized gray wheels, the classic GT script on the liftgate, the pony emblem on the grille, and the Mach-E 4 badges on the front doors. Inside, the California Special theme continues with blue accents and performance seats trimmed in a combination of Navy Pier ActivX and Miko materials.
A defining feature is the hood graphic, which sports the California Special wordmark over a design that mimics a radiant sunset using layers of gray, black, and blue. The vehicle, shown here with Pirelli tires and red Brembo brake calipers, will be open for ordering in the U.S. on October 22, 2025. The initial customer deliveries are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2026.
Under the hood, the 2026 Mustang Mach-E GT continues with its familiar powertrain, delivering a robust 480 horsepower and a tire-spinning 700 pound-feet (950 Newton-meters) of torque. It offers an EPA-estimated driving range of 280 miles (451 kilometers) on a full charge.
Ford has set the base price for the 2026 GT model at $53,395, marking a $1,100 decrease from the previous year. The automaker has also adjusted the pricing for the entry-level Select RWD trim, which now starts at $37,795, down from $37,995 for the 2025 model.
While the California Special focuses on style, drivers seeking ultimate performance might look to the Mustang Mach-E Rally. Starting at around $60,000, this all-road variant builds on the GT with the Performance Upgrade package. It includes underbody protection, rally-tuned MagneRide dampers, a dedicated rally drive mode, unique wheels, and Michelin CrossClimate tires. Further distinguishing it are red Brembo calipers, a unique grille shield with integrated LED fog lamps, a raised spoiler, Rally door graphics, a black roof, and hood and decklid stripes. These performance and styling enhancements do come with a trade-off: a reduced driving range of 265 miles (426 kilometers) from its 91-kWh battery.
Despite the range figures, which are common in this high-performance electric SUV segment, the Mach-E is enjoying strong sales. It recorded its best quarter yet in Q3 2025, with U.S. deliveries surging 50.7% compared to the same period in 2024. Year-to-date, Ford has delivered 41,962 Mach-Es in the United States, a 17.8% increase over the first nine months of 2024.
