Kia is gearing up for a busy 2026, with a slate of new and refreshed vehicles set to join the lineup.
Kia is gearing up for a major product offensive in 2026, blending next-generation electric vehicles with updated versions of its current lineup. At the center of the strategy is the expanding EV family: the compact EV2, the performance-focused EV3 GT and EV4 GT, and the EV5, positioned as the electric counterpart to the Sportage.
The EV2 is set to be the most affordable entry into Kia’s EV range. It’s a small crossover just over four meters long, built on the E-GMP platform and slated for production in Slovakia. Not far behind will be the EV3 GT, featuring all-wheel drive and upgraded power. The EV4 GT will offer an 81.4-kWh battery and a dual-motor setup putting out more than 400 horsepower.
The EV5 is expected to arrive in early 2026, promising up to about 530 kilometers (roughly 330 miles) of range and the ability to fast-charge from 10% to 80% in around 30 minutes. A high-performance GT version is also in the works.
Among models powered by combustion engines or hybrid systems, both the XCeed and Niro will see updates. The XCeed will keep its familiar gas and mild-hybrid powertrains, while the Niro will continue to be offered as a hybrid, a plug-in hybrid, and a fully electric model.
European markets will also see a new Seltos—still a compact SUV but with a roomier cabin and a stronger emphasis on hybrid powertrains.
Another piece of Kia’s 2026 plan is the PV5, an electric van developed under the PBV concept. It will come in passenger and cargo versions, with battery options ranging from 43.3 to 71.2 kWh and a 120-kW motor.
Altogether, the 2026 lineup underscores Kia’s intention to strengthen its position in the new-car market while expanding its EV offerings and maintaining choices for buyers who prefer conventional or hybrid models.
