Formula 1 star Charles Leclerc celebrated his wedding in Monaco, departing in a rare $12 million Ferrari just days before the season opener.
Charles Leclerc has officially tied the knot with his longtime partner, Alexandra Saint Mleux. And in true racing fashion, the couple’s getaway car was anything but ordinary — a 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa reportedly valued at around $12 million.
The timing couldn’t have been better for Leclerc. With the new Formula 1 season kicking off this week, the Ferrari driver managed to squeeze in a wedding celebration just before heading back to the grid.
The pair were first seen together publicly at Wimbledon in July 2023, a few months after rumors of their relationship began circulating that March. In November 2025, they announced their engagement on Instagram, sharing a series of photos captioned “Mr. and Mrs. Leclerc.” The post also featured an important member of the family — their dachshund, Leo — who appeared to give his full approval.
After dating since early 2023 and making their first official appearance at the Wimbledon final that summer, the couple exchanged vows in a private ceremony in Monaco. The celebration came just days before Leclerc is set to compete in the season-opening Grand Prix in Australia.
While the bride’s ring and the elegance of the ceremony drew plenty of admiration, it was the wedding car that truly stole the show. The rare 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa — powered by a 3.0-liter Tipo 128 Colombo V12 — served as their grand exit.
In a video shared to their social media accounts, the newlyweds are seen driving side by side with another vehicle capturing the moment. Leclerc slips on his sunglasses as Saint Mleux waves a bouquet of white flowers. He wears a light-colored suit, while she stuns in a lace wedding gown.
There won’t be much time for a honeymoon. Leclerc is heading halfway around the globe for the first race of the season, and it’s likely that his wife — along with Leo — will be cheering him on trackside. Over the past two years, Saint Mleux has become a familiar face around the paddock during race weekends.
Leclerc wrapped up last season in third place, finishing behind reigning champion Lando Norris of McLaren and Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing. His Ferrari teammate, Lewis Hamilton, who arrived at the Scuderia with the pedigree of a seven-time world champion, finished sixth. Both drivers are aiming higher this year.
So far, the new campaign looks promising. During preseason testing in Bahrain, Leclerc topped the time sheets, completing 135 laps and posting an impressive 1:31.992.
“It’s still hard to know exactly where everyone stands because teams aren’t showing their full pace,” Leclerc said in Bahrain. “The key is not to read too much into lap times and stay focused on preparing for the first race.”
Hamilton, meanwhile, logged 190 laps over a day and a half of testing, concentrating on dialing in Ferrari’s new SF-26 challenger despite a few minor technical hiccups.
With a wedding behind him and a new season ahead, Leclerc appears to be starting 2026 on exactly the right note.
