In the United States, an unconventional tuning project was carried out on a Honda Prelude. The famous sports coupe was turned into a two-engine monster.

The car chosen for the modification was a 2000 Honda Prelude coupe. The iconic vehicle retained its standard 2.2-liter 200-horsepower engine in the front, while another identical engine was installed in the trunk. As a result, the car now boasts 400 horsepower and all-wheel drive.

The fifth-generation Honda Prelude was equipped with two 5-speed manual gearboxes. The rear engine can be turned off if necessary.

To accommodate the two-engine setup, a completely new tubular chassis had to be created, and air intakes were added to the side panels for cooling the rear engine. The suspension was also modified, and new brakes from Wilwood were installed to enhance stopping power.

Additionally, the hood of the Honda Prelude was made of carbon fiber, and the windows were replaced with lightweight Lexan instead of glass. To reduce weight, the climate control and some interior trim were removed. The car now weighs just 1277 kg.

Inside, a sports steering wheel and front seats were installed. However, due to the additional engine, there was no room left for rear seats.
