This Tiny Camper Looks Compact Outside but Feels Surprisingly Spacious Inside
Smart design and an efficient layout give this compact travel trailer far more living space than expected.
Looking for a cozy getaway for two? A well-designed travel trailer like this one offers everything needed for comfortable road trips without taking up much space on the road.

French builder Baluchon recently introduced its latest tiny home on wheels, a travel trailer called Utopia. The new model builds on the company's earlier Escapade trailer with a more refined design and improved functionality. Although compact on the outside, Utopia is designed to provide comfortable living accommodations for two people.

Entry is through a small front porch that leads directly into the main living area. Inside, there's a sofa and a dining table positioned beside a window, creating a comfortable space for two. Just beyond that is the kitchen, equipped with the essentials for everyday cooking, including a sink, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, and a gas cooktop. The only notable omission is a built-in oven.

The sleeping area is located in a loft above the main living space rather than in a separate bedroom. A compact corner staircase provides access while taking up as little floor space as possible. The loft features a full-size bed, additional storage areas, and conveniently placed power outlets.

Natural materials play a major role throughout the interior. Spruce wood is used extensively, along with sheep's wool, linen, and hemp for insulation and finishes. The exterior is clad in cedar, while LED lighting is installed both inside and outside the trailer.

The trailer has a curb weight of approximately 7,573 pounds, making it a substantial yet fully self-contained tiny home designed for life on the road.
