Famous celebrities can afford almost anything they want — mansions, penthouses, private jets, and ultra-expensive cars. But not every star follows the usual luxury-car formula. Some celebrities have developed surprisingly unusual automotive tastes, choosing vehicles that are eccentric, impractical, or simply unlike anything else on the road.

Here are some of the strangest celebrity vehicles ever spotted.

1. Lady Gaga’s “Bloody Mary” Rolls-Royce

Lady Gaga is known for her extravagant public image, but her taste in cars leans heavily toward classic luxury models rather than heavily modified exotics.

One of the standout vehicles in her collection was a 1990 Rolls-Royce Corniche III. Instead of keeping the traditional black, silver, or dark blue paint commonly associated with the model, Gaga had the car repainted in a bright red shade she nicknamed “Bloody Mary.”

The dramatic look fit perfectly with her stage persona. The car was later reportedly sold at auction for around $125,000.

2. Jay Leno’s EcoJet

Jay Leno owns one of the world’s most famous celebrity car collections, but one of his favorites is the wild 2006 EcoJet.

The car produces around 650 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque thanks to a Honeywell LTS101 turbine engine normally used in helicopters. The engine alone reportedly costs around $160,000.

The EcoJet runs primarily on biodiesel but also uses kerosene during startup. The futuristic design even forced engineers to eliminate side mirrors because of the dramatic scissor doors.

3. George Clooney’s Tango T600

George Clooney once chose an unusually tiny electric vehicle to deal with Los Angeles traffic and parking headaches.

The fully electric Tango T600 is less than 39 inches wide, allowing it to squeeze into incredibly tight parking spaces.

Despite its compact size, the Tango is shockingly powerful. The car reportedly produces up to 805 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 3.2 seconds. Driving range was estimated at roughly 80 miles per charge.

Only about 20 examples were ever built, and Clooney became the company’s first customer.

4. Pope Francis’ Renault R4

Pope Francis became famous for rejecting excessive luxury after becoming pope.

Before leading the Vatican, he drove a humble Renault 4 in his native Argentina. Even after becoming pope, Francis often preferred simple vehicles over heavily armored luxury transportation.

He also encouraged Vatican officials to avoid expensive limousines and focus on modesty and practicality instead.

5. Kanye West’s Sherp Off-Roaders

Kanye West owns several unusual Sherp off-road machines at his Wyoming ranches.

The gigantic amphibious vehicles feature massive low-pressure tires and are capable of climbing obstacles more than 3 feet high while also floating across water and ice.

West reportedly owns multiple Sherps, all painted black.

6. Dwayne Johnson’s Plymouth Prowler

Dwayne Johnson owns a long list of expensive vehicles, but one of the most unusual is the retro-styled Plymouth Prowler.

With its exposed front wheels and hot-rod-inspired design, the Prowler attracts attention everywhere it goes.

Johnson reportedly received the car while filming Pain & Gain, directed by Michael Bay.

7. Justin Bieber’s Chrome Fisker Karma

Justin Bieber received a Fisker Karma for his 18th birthday — a luxury plug-in hybrid sedan originally priced at about $102,000.

But Bieber didn’t leave the car stock for long. He sent it to West Coast Customs for modifications, including a chrome vinyl wrap, dark tinted windows, and custom 22-inch black wheels.

At one point, paparazzi reportedly caught Bieber driving the Karma at speeds exceeding 80 mph on Los Angeles freeways.

8. Jason Momoa’s Harley-Davidson LiveWire

Jason Momoa is a longtime motorcycle enthusiast and a major fan of Harley-Davidson bikes.

He also strongly supports environmental causes, which made the fully electric Harley-Davidson LiveWire a natural fit for his collection.

Momoa praised the bike’s instant torque, smooth power delivery, and strong braking performance. Inspired by the motorcycle, he even produced a short documentary-style video about the LiveWire and shared it online.
