Custom six-wheel-drive trucks have become something of a niche all their own, and while most of them are one-off creations, that hardly matters when they look this outrageous.

Every now and then, builders decide to throw convention out the window and create something so extreme that it grabs the attention of even the most skeptical gearheads. That's exactly what happened with this Chevrolet Silverado, which was transformed into a head-turning six-wheeler by Czech tuning company Bureko S.R.O.

Dubbed the Bureko 6x6, the truck is based on the previous-generation Silverado and joins a growing list of six-wheel-drive conversions that have included everything from the Toyota Land Cruiser 79 and Mercedes-AMG G63 to the Jeep Wrangler.

The Czech builders didn't stop at simply adding another axle. The Silverado received a complete exterior makeover with redesigned body panels that dramatically alter its appearance. Protective coatings cover the bed, rocker panels, and wheel arches, while a host of off-road upgrades gives the truck serious trail-ready credentials.

Power comes from GM's naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8, which produces 420 horsepower in its standard form. Buyers looking for more excitement can choose from several upgraded engine packages, with output ranging from 600 horsepower all the way up to an astonishing 1,200 horsepower.

Regardless of which engine configuration is selected, every Bureko 6x6 comes equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission and a six-wheel-drive system featuring an electronically controlled transfer case. The two rear axles are supported by an air suspension setup, while massive 35-inch tires wrapped around 20-inch wheels complete the truck's imposing stance.

Despite its rugged personality, the Bureko 6x6 doesn't skimp on comfort. Available features include a backup camera system, a premium Bose audio system, keyless entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated seats, and power-adjustable seating, among other upscale amenities.

The result is a truck that blends brute force with luxury and looks unlike almost anything else on the road. Whether it's tackling rough terrain or simply drawing a crowd at a car show, this six-wheeled Silverado was clearly built to make a statement.
