When the hybrid Lamborghini Urus SE debuted in 2024, few expected the luxury SUV horsepower race to go any further.
When the Lamborghini Urus SE arrived in 2024, many assumed the performance ceiling for luxury SUVs had finally been reached. The German tuning specialists at Mansory clearly disagreed. They took Lamborghini’s production hybrid and turned it into what they jokingly describe as a “restrained project.”
In the world of Mansory, “restrained” is almost an oxymoron. Still, that’s how the company describes its latest body package. And compared with some of its previous creations, the new setup is relatively subtle—though it still carries the tuner’s unmistakable flair.
Up front, the Urus SE receives a completely redesigned fascia featuring an aggressive splitter that spans the width of the bumper and enlarged accents surrounding the air intakes. Function and styling go hand in hand. From the side, the eye is immediately drawn to the massive 24-inch wheels. Buyers can choose from seven different designs, although the launch vehicle wears black wheels with bright green highlights. Pronounced side skirts, redesigned mirror caps, and exposed carbon-fiber trim on the rear pillars complete the profile.
The real show, however, takes place at the back. Mansory fitted the SUV with an enormous rear wing—a nod to the wild Japanese tuning scene of the early 2000s, interpreted through the company’s own distinctive lens. A smaller lip spoiler on the tailgate, an all-new diffuser, and four exhaust outlets hint at the performance hidden underneath. And those hints are no exaggeration.
The standard Urus SE combines a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 with an electric motor to deliver an already impressive 789 horsepower and 701 lb-ft of torque. Apparently, even that wasn't enough for Mansory.
The company has kept the details of its upgrades under wraps, but the revised hybrid powertrain now produces a staggering 1,085 horsepower. Torque climbs to 922 lb-ft. Considering the weight of the SUV, those figures translate into acceleration that many dedicated sports cars can only envy.
But upgrading the powertrain and adding an aggressive body kit was only part of the mission. Mansory has transformed an already blisteringly fast luxury SUV into something closer to a hypercar on stilts. Its appearance now fully matches its personality. This is no longer just a fashionable SUV with a big engine—it’s a bold statement delivered with the kind of extravagance and madness that have become trademarks of the German tuner.
