A replica of the Italian sports car based on a 38-year-old Pontiac Fiero is for sale in Newport, Vermont, for $14,000.

A 1988 Pontiac Fiero has been fitted with custom body panels that give it the look of a Lamborghini Gallardo, although the car’s proportions are noticeably different from those of the Italian supercar. It also received matching lighting elements. The replica is finished in gold with contrasting black trim on the roof, engine cover and rear spoiler.

Inside, the Fiero features a new steering wheel, Recaro accessories and an Alpine-based audio system. The car is also equipped with front and rear cameras.

The rear-wheel-drive replica is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing around 100 horsepower. The engine is paired with a manual transmission. The odometer shows 56,000 miles, and the seller says all of the car’s components are in excellent condition.
