1NZ-FE – the long-lived compact
This 1.5-liter engine was installed in the Prius, Yaris, and Echo. Thanks to its aluminum block and successful design, it handled high mileage very well, especially in taxis. Many units easily exceeded 300–400 thousand km without overhauls.
7M-GE – the predecessor of a legend
An inline «six» from the 80s, which was installed in the Supra and Cressida. Its reliable design laid the foundation for future engines, including the legendary 2JZ-GTE.
