The car was presented for the first time in Milan, where it began to attract attention due to its style and technical specifications. It is expected to go on sale by the end of the year.

The design of the Geely Galaxy M9 is unique and combines elements of "Galaxy Starship" styling. The front of the car emphasizes minimalism and dynamism—an LED strip crosses the entire front panel, connecting the headlights into one. This creates the effect of a glowing face with high recognizability. The rear features rounded shapes and taillights with a 'starry sky' design, along with a closed panel in the logo area that enhances aerodynamics and increases the sense of technological sophistication. The side lines of the car are smooth, emphasizing its sportiness and modern look.

At previous events, a deep blue color variant was shown, which gave a futuristic impression, followed by a white-blue version with swirling transitions. Now, black and silver color options are presented. The black iteration looks austere and solid, emphasizing luxury, while the silver adds sparkle and technological feel, meeting diverse consumer preferences.

From the side, the car features standard door handles and chrome decorative inserts. The interior uses a combination of dark and light materials—black leather, silver inserts, and matte surfaces. The spacious lounge uses an aluminum structure for strength and safety. Notably, the laser radar mounted on the roof works with the HAWK 5.0 safety system, making the vehicle one of the smartest on the market.

Interior and technology

Inside, the cabin combines technology and convenience. The central panel is adorned with silver textured surfaces, black leather, and a three-spoke steering wheel with two-tone trim. All control elements are logically and accessibly arranged. The center console includes wireless charging for two devices, buttons and dials, and spacious storage compartments. Screens are provided for the driver, a central monitor, and a separate screen for the front passenger, creating a sense of digital space.

The seating configuration is 2+2+2, ensuring comfort for all six passengers. The first row features two air conditioner vents, the second row has two individual seats with electric adjustment. The floor in the third row is completely flat, increasing legroom. Ceiling screens entertain the rear passengers, and the wide passage between seats (~18 cm) facilitates cabin access.

Under the hood is the Raython EM hybrid system built on the unique GEA New Energy platform. While exact power figures are not yet disclosed, it is known that the maximum range exceeds 1500 km, acceleration to 100 km/h takes only 4.5 seconds, and fuel consumption at low battery charge is just 4.8 liters per 100 km. This makes the car competitive even among premium-class vehicles.
