The Nissan Rogue is considered one of the key vehicles in Nissan’s global lineup, and a new generation is on the horizon. Scheduled to debut next year, the refreshed Rogue will feature both styling upgrades and mechanical improvements.

Up front, the crossover is expected to adopt a larger honeycomb-style grille, flanked by redesigned daytime running lights and slimmer headlights. At the rear, thicker blacked-out pillars will give the SUV a bolder “floating roof” look.

International reports suggest the Rogue will offer two powertrain choices, including Nissan’s latest third-generation e-Power system. This setup pairs a more efficient 1.5-liter gasoline engine with a powerful electric motor, boosting fuel efficiency by up to 15 percent.

With this hybrid system, the Rogue is projected to deliver an average fuel consumption of just 4.8 liters per 100 km (about 49 mpg).

Inside, the SUV will likely take cues from the current Murano, featuring a redesigned dashboard, premium materials, a new two-spoke steering wheel, and dual 12.3-inch displays for the infotainment system and digital instrument cluster.

Japanese outlets also report that the next-gen Rogue will ride on the CMF-CD modular platform, which will provide more interior space. A third row of seats will continue to be offered as an option, while the latest ProPilot driver-assistance system is also expected to be part of the package.
