Honda has announced the 30th anniversary of its popular CR-V crossover. Since its debut in 1995, the model has grown into one of the brand’s top sellers, now accounting for a major share of Honda’s worldwide sales.

To mark the occasion, Honda launched a dedicated page on its official website, where fans can explore the full history of the CR-V — from its very first generation to the latest innovations.

Introduced exactly 30 years ago, the CR-V was an innovative vehicle that blended comfort, practicality, and everyday versatility.

The first-generation CR-V effectively created a new segment — the urban crossover — combining easy handling, convenient usability, and a comfortable experience for both driver and passengers.

Today, the CR-V is sold across numerous global markets in a wide range of versions, including hybrid and even hydrogen-powered variants (the e:FCEV).

In its current generation, the crossover is available in both standard gasoline and hybrid versions. Prices for these models start at $28,000 and go up to $65,000, depending on the trim level.
