Korean automaker Kia is gearing up to introduce the next generation of its flagship SUV, the Telluride, set to make its world premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November 2025. The company has already released the first teaser images of the 2027 Telluride — and they make it clear: this isn’t just a facelift, but a bold leap forward in design and technology.

The 2027 Telluride embodies Kia’s Opposites United design philosophy, blending natural strength with cutting-edge innovation. The SUV features a commanding, almost monumental silhouette with broad shoulders and striking vertical LED elements in a red-amber hue. Its exterior draws inspiration from the rugged landscapes of Telluride, Colorado, and the Rocky Mountains — a motif reflected in the triangular sculpting along the fenders, reminiscent of a gemstone’s facets.

From every angle, the Telluride looks powerful and confident: sharp hood lines, a high beltline, and a forward-shifted D-pillar create a sense of motion even when the vehicle is standing still. Black trim accents on the rear pillars visually “lift” the roof, adding a modern, lighter feel to the SUV’s robust proportions. Wide wheel arches and smooth surface transitions strike a balance between toughness and sophistication — Kia’s vision for the future of premium SUVs.

Full details on the powertrain, interior, and technology will be unveiled during a special press conference on launch day. One thing is already clear: the new Telluride marks a major milestone for Kia, reinforcing the brand’s ambitions in the modern SUV segment and setting new benchmarks for style, equipment, and innovation.
