Brad Pitt is now the face of Mercedes-AMG’s upcoming all-electric four-door GT coupe. The actor appears in a striking promo video filmed in Las Vegas during the recent Grand Prix weekend.

For the shoot, Mercedes-AMG brought a lightly camouflaged prototype to the city—an EV packing more than 1,000 horsepower.

In the clip, Pitt arrives to pick up the car, only to discover that his “valet” is none other than Russell. The F1 driver puts on a show, lighting up the underground garage with burnouts and drifts before delivering the car to the front entrance for the actor.

The prototype rides on the new AMG-EA platform, a mix of aluminum, steel, and lightweight composites. The production version—intended to take on the Porsche Taycan and Audi RS e-tron GT—will be the first model built on this architecture. Its global premiere is slated for 2026.

Mercedes-AMG says Pitt’s involvement underscores the premium character of the EV.

“His authenticity and appreciation for the extraordinary capture the spirit of our future four-door coupe,” noted company chief Michael Schiebe.

Pitt added that he’s always been drawn to the feeling and excitement behind the wheel, while Russell admitted that the prototype genuinely impressed him.
