Volkswagen Reveals Specs of Its All-New Crossover

Volkswagen has unveiled the specifications of the new all-electric ID. Unyx 08 crossover.

Volkswagen has released detailed specifications for its new electric crossover, the ID. Unyx 08. The vehicle will be offered with two battery options rated at 82.4 kWh and 95.0 kWh, delivering an estimated driving range of about 391 to 454 miles under the CLTC test cycle.

The crossover supports ultra-fast charging thanks to an 800-volt electrical architecture. It will also be equipped with an advanced Level 2++ driver-assistance system featuring a “parking-to-parking” function.

The ID. Unyx 08 stands out with a fresh design. Slim daytime running lights are angled upward and positioned on either side of the Volkswagen badge. The front features a closed grille with a trapezoidal air intake, while the door handles are flush with the body. At the rear, the vehicle gets narrow horizontal taillights. From the side, buyers will notice two wheel design options and a two-tone body treatment.

In terms of size, the crossover measures approximately 197 inches in length, 76.9 inches in width, and 66.5 inches in height, with a wheelbase of about 119.3 inches. Power comes from an electric motor producing 230 kW, equivalent to roughly 308 horsepower.

In addition, the ID. Unyx 08 is equipped with an intelligent AI-based assistant and supports over-the-air (OTA) software updates.
