The pickup handled daily work for more than a year, never broke down, and didn’t need repairs.
Blogger Micah Toll bought a small Chinese-made electric pickup for just $2,000 and recently shared what life with the vehicle has been like after 18 months of ownership. He highlighted several points he believes are important for anyone considering a similar purchase.
According to Toll, he ended up using the electric pickup far more often than he originally expected. He said the vehicle turned out to be especially useful for hauling small loads and handling everyday tasks around the property.
Over the entire period, the truck did its job reliably. It never broke down and didn’t require any repairs. That said, after about a year and a half, Toll noticed signs of corrosion starting to appear on the body.
He also stressed one important limitation: the pickup isn’t street-legal. Because it’s not approved for use on public roads, it can’t realistically serve as a primary vehicle and is best suited for private property or work sites.

Earlier, another American blogger, Sean Kerr, ordered a motorcycle from China made by Italian brand Moto Morini, paying just $6,500 delivered. He admitted he was genuinely surprised by how much he liked it.
The Moto Morini X-Cape is marketed as a bike that’s “designed by Italians, built by Italians, and owned by Italians.” However, the shipping box that arrived in the U.S. clearly stated that the motorcycle was manufactured in China.
Kerr said his first impression was a positive one. Once uncrated, the bike stood out with its sharp styling and bright red paint.
He also pointed out that it’s one of the heaviest Chinese-built motorcycles he’s ever owned. The X-Cape weighs about 511 pounds. For comparison, his BMW M 1000 RR tips the scales at roughly 423 pounds. Despite the weight, the bike left him impressed overall.
