The refreshed 2026 Corvette features a completely redesigned interior with three digital screens now standard across all C8 trims. The new setup includes a 12.7-inch central infotainment display, a 14-inch digital instrument cluster, and an additional 6.6-inch touchscreen positioned to the left of the steering wheel. The previous vertical “button wall” has been replaced with a cleaner, more streamlined horizontal layout.

However, early owners have encountered an unwelcome issue: the central display may fail shortly after delivery. In some reported cases, roughly half of the screen becomes covered with a mesh-like pattern that obscures menus and system functions, making the infotainment system difficult to use.

According to sources, the only current fix is a complete replacement of the display assembly. Chevrolet has not yet provided a timeline for replacement parts, meaning some customers could face delays while waiting for new modules.

The 2026 Corvette runs on the latest-generation IVE infotainment system developed by General Motors. Similar systems are being rolled out across other GM models, raising the possibility that the issue could be more widespread. Owners of various GM vehicles have already reported screen blackouts, audio dropouts, and intermittent connectivity problems. The company has issued dealer bulletin PIT6362 and confirmed that its engineers are investigating.

While fully digital cabins give vehicles a modern edge, they also increase reliance on complex electronics. For a model regarded as both a performance icon and a symbol of reliability, such glitches are especially sensitive — buyers expect flawless operation from day one.
