Micro 240 Travel Trailer Packs Three Beds and a Full Bathroom Into a Tiny, Affordable Package

Small RVs often force buyers to compromise on comfort, storage or basic amenities. The Micro 240 takes a different approach, packing an unusually broad range of features into a remarkably compact travel trailer.

The Micro 240 is the smallest and most basic model from newcomer AnkerCaravan Berlin, which operates as an importer for Turkish company Ankaravan. Despite its diminutive dimensions, the trailer can be configured as a three-bed, self-sufficient home away from home.

The model is actually the Micro 2.4 previously covered, adapted and certified for the European market and adjusted to local traveler requirements. In its simplest configuration, it is intended for couples seeking as much self-sufficiency as possible within a very small footprint. With the full range of options, it becomes a three-bed unit designed for shorter stays.

The European-spec Micro 240 made its debut at the 2026 Dusseldorf Caravan Salon. The three-bed version shown there includes solar power and a heater, while the two-person configuration is also available.

AnkerCaravan Berlin describes it as "an especially agile micro model with a compact design, flexible sleeping options and practical equipment." The trailer measures just 2.4 meters (7.8 feet) in body length, while its overall length reaches 3.9 meters (12.8 feet). It is 2 meters (6.5 feet) wide and 2.45 meters (8 feet) tall, giving occupants full standing height inside.

From the outside, the Micro 240 is essentially a small box on wheels, with a compact design that prioritizes usable interior space over aerodynamics. Inside, the approach becomes more apparent.

The units are shipped from Turkey with complete furniture. AnkerCaravan Berlin then adds options such as solar, a heater, cooktop and toilet, while ensuring the trailers comply with European legislation before they are sold.

Construction starts with a hot-dipped galvanized steel chassis and an aluminum frame. Composite panels and fiberglass are used for the body, which is built without wood and assembled by hand. The construction is intended to withstand wear and tear while undergoing checks for integrity and quality.

The standard chassis uses an AL-KO unbraked torsion axle, with a brake available as an option. Four AL-KO stabilizers come standard, along with an outdoor shower.

Inside, the floor plan follows a familiar formula for Turkish caravans in this size category. A single-block galley occupies the front, the bathroom sits in the driver's-side corner, and a rear dinette converts into a bed. The three-bed version adds a flip-up bunk that can accommodate a child or provide additional storage.

Where the Micro 240 stands out is in how much functionality is fitted into that layout. Storage is available throughout the kitchen and living area, with the compartments built as hand-crafted wood cabinets.

The bathroom is also a full wet-bath setup rather than a token toilet compartment. It includes a sink, shower, porta-potti and dedicated storage. The porta-potti can be upgraded to a cassette toilet.

The interior treatment gives the compact space a more residential feel. Shiplap-like plastic panels add texture, while fabric and real wood are used throughout the interior. Both the textiles and cabinetry can be customized for an additional charge.

The entry-level Standard Package includes a two-burner electric cooktop, stainless steel sink, small refrigerator, porta-potti, runners and mats. It also comes with scratch-resistant glass windows featuring integrated blinds and flyscreens, plus a 55-liter (14.5-gallon) freshwater tank.

At just under €10,000, the Standard Package is the least expensive configuration, equivalent to approximately $11,600 at the current exchange rate.

The Full Package adds a solar system of unspecified capacity, braked axle, overrun brake, awning, diesel heater and Maxel 100 special insulation. Pricing starts at €14,000 ($16,200).

The Premium Package costs €15,500 ($18,000) and adds an electric oven, TV in the dining area, roof lining, air conditioning and a substantially larger 12V refrigerator.

At the top of the range is the Ultra Package, priced from €16,000 ($18,500). It adds an inverter, lithium battery of unspecified capacity, cassette toilet and water heater.

Despite all that equipment, the Micro 240 remains exceptionally light. In standard specification, it weighs just 440 kg (970 lbs) empty and has a maximum permissible weight of 750 kg (1,653 lbs). The trailer can also be uprated to 1,000 kg.
