Volkswagen ID. Polo Demand Is So Strong Buyers Face a Nearly Yearlong Wait

The waiting list for Volkswagen’s affordable ID. Polo electric car has stretched to at least 10 months. As Carscoops reports, even a custom-built McLaren can arrive sooner, with estimated delivery times ranging from eight weeks to six months, although exact timing is not guaranteed.

Volkswagen has already collected more than 30,000 orders for the ID. Polo in Europe. Many customers placed their orders before the car reached dealerships and before they had a chance to take one for a test drive.
