Geely Unveils New Galaxy Starshine 6 Sedan with Hybrid Powertrain and Up to 125 km of Electric Range
The Chinese automaker continues to expand its hybrid lineup, introducing another model distinguished by striking design and advanced technology.
Geely has officially revealed the 2026 Galaxy Starshine 6 sedan, publishing the first official images of the car. The model is equipped with the Thor EM-i hybrid system, while certification details had already appeared in China’s Ministry of Industry database earlier this spring. Now the company has showcased the four-door’s exterior.
At the front, the sedan features slim headlights with L-shaped daytime running lights and a large grille with vertical slats. At the rear, a full-width light bar stretches across the trunk. Sculpted body lines emphasize the dynamic profile. The car measures 4,806×1,886×1,490 mm with a wheelbase of 2,756 mm, placing it between the Galaxy L6 and A7 within the brand’s lineup.

The interior has not been officially presented yet, but spy photos of test prototypes reveal a digital instrument cluster, a large multimedia screen, a two-spoke steering wheel, and a central tunnel with space for wireless charging. Instead of a traditional gear selector, Geely has opted for a steering-column-mounted lever.
The Thor EM-i powertrain combines a 1.5-liter gasoline engine producing 112 hp with an electric motor, the specifications of which remain undisclosed. Buyers will be offered versions with either a 17 kWh or an 8.5 kWh battery. In its top configuration, the sedan delivers an all-electric range of about 125 km. The Galaxy Starshine 6 is expected to make its public debut at the Chengdu Auto Show on August 29, with sales scheduled to begin by the end of the year.
