Chevrolet is bringing the sporty Silverado EV RST back for the 2026 model year. After quietly removing the trim from the lineup in early 2025, the automaker will reintroduce it as a limited-run Stars & Steel Special Edition.

The new variant celebrates the 250th anniversary of the United States and features distinctive styling details. The electric pickup gets exclusive Stars & Steel graphics, blacked-out badges, black center caps, and other design accents that highlight its patriotic theme. Chevrolet also added several features that won’t be available on other Silverado EV trims.

Inside, the truck comes with a flat-bottom sport steering wheel finished with red stitching. It’s also equipped with Adaptive Ride Control and an air suspension system that allows drivers to adjust ride height depending on driving conditions.

The performance-focused setup continues with upgraded brakes and unique 24-inch six-spoke aluminum wheels finished in gloss black. Standard equipment includes the Comfort & Convenience Package and the Technology Package, along with the hands-free Super Cruise driver-assistance system. The truck also features the Multi-Flex Midgate, a Chevytec spray-in bedliner, a head-up display, and a powerful 19.2-kW onboard charger.

The Silverado EV RST will be available with two battery options. The Extended Range version produces up to 645 horsepower, while the Max Range model delivers as much as 760 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque. Peak output is unlocked through the Wide Open Watts performance mode.

Chevrolet has not yet announced official pricing for the special edition. Still, the return of the RST trim suggests the company remains committed to high-performance electric pickups. Limited models like the Stars & Steel edition help keep attention on the Silverado EV while showcasing the full potential of the platform.
