Li Auto is preparing to expand its lineup, but for now only in China. The manufacturer announced the debut of three new vehicles, including the first sedan in its history. However, the latter may not be released soon.

As company representatives stated, the sedan will join the lineup only if its annual revenue reaches 300 billion yuan (approximately 200 million US dollars). Last year, Li Auto earned about half of that amount. The company sold about half a million new cars during the specified period. Therefore, it will start developing its own sedan only if it sells about a million cars in a year. But considering the current trend, the company may quickly achieve this result.

To achieve this, Li Auto is already working on expanding its lineup. In July, the new i8 will debut in the Chinese market. This is a fully electric crossover, which will cost around 400,000 yuan (approximately 55,000 US dollars). It is equipped with two electric motors delivering up to 544 horsepower.

In early autumn, the presentation of the new i6 will take place. This is a more compact electric crossover, which will be released only in a 5-seater version. Its characteristics have not yet been disclosed.
