Lynk & Co is preparing to launch the new flagship sedan 10 EM-P with a hybrid powertrain on the market. The appearance of the car and some of its technical specifications have been declassified in the latest publication by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The model is likely to hit the market by the end of 2025.

10 EM-P Car Design

The Lynk & Co 10 EM-P is not an entirely new development. In fact, it is analogous to the electric Z10 that was released last year. This sedan, which became the brand's first purely battery-powered model, was not very much in demand. From September 2024 to April 2025, it sold approximately 8,400 units, though during the pre-order stage, the company reported collecting over 10,000 applications on the very first day.

Visually, the novelty almost completely replicates the electric Z10. At the front, there is a complex two-level lighting system and a characteristic "beak" formed by the bumper group. Louvres are located above the top "lip" of the bumper. Lidar is mounted on the roof.

The vehicle's silhouette is quite sleek and coupe-like. The rear body pillar, which has a rather unusual design, is especially attractive. The door handles are hidden, and the rearview mirrors are traditional. The wheel rims are partially closed, creating reduced aerodynamic resistance.

At the rear, a stylish monophalanx can be discerned. The trunk lid is not particularly large, and it generally gives the impression that this is a liftback, which is emphasized by the coupe-like roofline and rear glass. The bumper is quite large, with black protective plastic at the bottom.

Dimensions: 5,050 mm long, 1,966 mm wide, and 1,487 mm high. The wheelbase is 3,005 mm. The curb weight ranges from 2,137 to 2,257 kg.

The car's interior will likely be completely carried over from the electric Z10. The model's cabin is quite minimalistic, with a simple dashboard. At its center is a multimedia system with which one can control all functionalities. Below are niches for wireless charging, a box for small items, and an armrest with a storage compartment. In front of the driver's seat, one can notice a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel and a virtual instrument panel.

The new equipment includes a new Nvidia Drive Thor-U chip with a performance of 700 TOPS (trillion operations per second), ensuring the work of intelligent driver assistants, autopilot, and data processing from various sensors.

Technical Specifications of 10 EM-P

Presumably, Lynk & Co 10 EM-P will be based on the same SEA platform as the Z10. Another possibility is the use of the GEA "cart." A point in favor of the latter is rumors in the Chinese media, confident in the use of the hybrid NordThor 2.0 power system, similar to that in the Geely Galaxy M9 crossover and Galaxy A7 sedan.

At its core, the Lynk & Co 10 EM-P is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine BHE15-CFZ produced by Aurora Bay Technology. Its power is 163 hp. The maximum speed is 210 km/h. The battery capacity and mileage range are not disclosed.

Here, it is important to recall the specifications of the electric Lynk & Co Z10. It is available with one or two electric motors. In the first case, power ranges from 272 to 422 hp, and the top versions already have 789 hp. Battery options include 71 or 95 kWh, allowing for a range of 602 to 806 km on a single charge.

What to expect in the future?

Apparently, the Lynk & Co 10 EM-P has every chance of becoming a much more popular model in the market than the Z10 electric car.

And in the future, it's possible that the company will revise the strategy formed after merging with Zeekr to create electric vehicles for the Lynk & Co brand, which has always specialized in gasoline and hybrid models.
