Skoda engineers, with the help of the British company Strongs Plastic Products, have created a new version of their electric crossover — the Enyaq Cargo.

As part of the partnership, an Enyaq with a full cargo compartment at the rear was developed — the Cargo version is officially registered as a light commercial vehicle (LCV). The Enyaq Cargo is based on the Enyaq 85, and the cost of such a conversion is about 190,000 rubles at the current exchange rate. The model is available for purchase exclusively by legal entities.

Since the car is based on the single-motor Edition 85 with an increased battery capacity of 77 kWh, the Enyaq Cargo will be able to travel approximately 570 km on a single charge. There is also an Enyaq Cargo version with two electric motors, which has a more modest range — about 530 km. The maximum charging power for these versions is 135 kW and 175 kW, respectively, which allows the battery charge to be replenished from 10 to 80% in approximately 28 minutes.

Skoda, in creating a vehicle for «businesspeople», used the maximum trunk volume of the standard Enyaq all-road vehicle, which is 1710 liters, to create a more spacious area behind a full metal partition.

In the cargo compartment, the buyer will find a floor made of «high-strength, lightweight plastic» and a frame located behind the rear window. The exterior remains unchanged compared to the standard Enyaq, except for a small emblem on the rear pillar with the partner company's name — «Strongs Plastic Products».
