Electric Dodge Charger and Jeep Wagoneer S models have been recalled over a risk of unintended movement while parked.
Stellantis has proudly pushed its electric vehicle strategy into legacy brands like Dodge and Jeep, but the shift to electrification hasn’t been without hiccups. The 2024 and 2025 Dodge Charger and Jeep Wagoneer S are now subject to a recall due to faulty electric drive modules that could allow the vehicles to move on their own after being parked.
The issue affects only a small number of cars—75 units total across both models—but it spans nearly a year of production. Affected Wagoneer S SUVs were built between August 2024 and March 2025, while Chargers were produced from August 2024 through April 2025.
Stellantis says that all affected owners will be notified and that the necessary repairs will be completed by the end of this month, ensuring the vehicles can be used safely after the fix.
