Toyota Updates 2027 Tundra and Sequoia TRD Pro With New Off-Road Upgrades

Toyota has announced another round of updates for the 2027 Tundra TRD Pro and Sequoia TRD Pro. In addition to the changes revealed earlier, both off-road models receive several new features aimed at improving trail performance and enhancing their rugged appeal.

The most noticeable addition is a new signature paint color called Honeycomb. The metallic golden-yellow finish joins the TRD Pro-exclusive color lineup and will be available on the Tundra, Sequoia, and Tacoma. The 4Runner will get a closely related shade named Hot Honey.

Toyota has also upgraded the suspension on both models. The 2027 Tundra TRD Pro and Sequoia TRD Pro now feature new Fox QS3 shocks with three selectable damping settings, each calibrated specifically for its respective vehicle. Standard equipment now includes red recovery hooks, while Toyota's ISO-Dynamic Performance Seats are available as an optional upgrade.

The remaining updates are more modest. Toyota previously confirmed that the 2027 Tundra and Sequoia receive refreshed styling, the new Trailhunter off-road package, and a 14-inch touchscreen that is now standard across the entire model lineup.

Toyota says full specifications, pricing, and availability for the updated 2027 Tundra TRD Pro and Sequoia TRD Pro will be announced closer to the start of production later this fall.
