Ferrari Sold Out Through the End of 2027 as Order Backlog Stretches Into 2028
Ferrari has already allocated every production slot through 2027, meaning customers placing new orders today won't take delivery until 2028.
Ferrari says its entire production schedule for 2027 is already spoken for. Every vehicle the Italian automaker plans to build next year has been assigned to a customer, leaving buyers who place new orders now facing delivery dates no earlier than 2028.

According to Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna, the company continues to see "healthy demand across all markets." That momentum is being fueled by a wave of new products, including the Amalfi, 849 Testarossa, and 296 Speciale. At the same time, deliveries of the Roma Spider, 296 GTS, and SF90 XX are winding down, while production of the F80 hypercar continues to ramp up.
Demand also remains strong for Ferrari's newest launches. The automaker recently unveiled the 12Cilindri Manuale, featuring a gated manual-style shifter that pays tribute to Ferrari's classic open-gate transmissions. Meanwhile, the brand's first fully electric model, the Luce, has become one of the year's most talked-about debuts. Although its unveiling sparked mixed reactions, Ferrari says customer interest remains strong and that the EV is attracting buyers new to the marque.
Despite its growing order backlog, Ferrari has no plans to increase production simply to shorten wait times. The company has long embraced a strategy of limited production, viewing exclusivity as one of its core brand values. By carefully controlling supply, Ferrari maintains strong demand, supports high resale values, and preserves industry-leading profitability.
That strategy continues to pay off financially. Following the second quarter of 2026, Ferrari raised its full-year revenue and profit outlook despite a slight decline in vehicle deliveries. The improved forecast was driven by strong sales of high-end models such as the F80, along with continued demand for the company's highly profitable vehicle personalization programs.
Even as Ferrari expands its lineup and enters the EV era, the automaker continues to maintain one of the longest waiting lists in the automotive industry. Customers can still place an order today—but they'll likely have to wait until at least 2028 before taking delivery.
