DS unveils new Performance Line trims for the DS 3, DS 4, and DS 7
DS is rolling out its new Performance Line series and marking the launch with open-house weekends at dealerships across Italy. The lineup blends sport-focused design inspired by Formula E with richer standard equipment across the brand’s core models.
The Performance Line treatment is available on three vehicles: the DS 3, DS 4, and DS 7. Key visual cues include graphics on the rear pillars, satin gold accents on the side mirrors, and exclusive Performance Line badging. Together, these elements create a cohesive sporty-yet-premium look that underscores DS’s ties to electric racing.
The DS 3 gains Alcantara-trimmed seats, a full suite of driver-assistance systems, and a choice between a mild-hybrid powertrain or a fully electric setup.
The DS 4 follows a similar design theme but steps things up with upgraded interior materials and the broadest engine lineup in the range. Buyers can choose from the all-electric E-Tense version, a mild hybrid, a plug-in hybrid, or the returning 1.5-liter BlueHDi diesel producing 130 horsepower and paired with an automatic transmission.
The DS 7, which is nearing a facelift, leans heavily into its visual identity with a blacked-out grille featuring a gold DS emblem, signature trim details, and a high level of standard equipment. Powertrain options include plug-in hybrids with 224, 300, or 360 horsepower, as well as a 130-horsepower diesel.
With the launch of Performance Line, DS is reinforcing its position in the premium compact and midsize SUV space, offering a sportier look without major mechanical changes. The open-house events are designed to boost interest in the brand, while the expanded range of powertrains gives these models added flexibility against rivals.
