Nebula Next 01X Concept Car With 2,000 TOPS of Computing Power: Are You Also Wondering Why?

Dreame Technology unveiled the Nebula Next 01X concept vehicle at the Appliance & Electronics World Expo 2026. The futuristic model is the first SUV developed under the company’s Starry Sky Plan program and comes equipped with hardware designed for Level 4 autonomous driving.

At the heart of the system is a chip built on an advanced 2-nanometer manufacturing process, capable of delivering up to 2,000 TOPS (trillions of operations per second) of computing power per core. The platform is intended to support advanced driver-assistance and automated driving systems that rely on massive real-time data processing.

The vehicle also features an intelligent chassis system called Starry Sky Tianxun. One of its key components is an electromagnetic active suspension known as EMAD. According to the company, the system reacts up to ten times faster than conventional setups while reducing energy consumption by about 50 percent.

The chassis uses a nonlinear control architecture with 14 degrees of freedom and synchronizes the vehicle’s systems in just one millisecond. Testing reportedly showed a 25 percent improvement in cornering stability and a 30 percent increase in traction on wet roads compared with traditional air suspension systems.

Power comes from a solid-state battery pack using 60-Ah cells. Each cell delivers an energy density of about 450 Wh/kg, with future versions targeting as much as 800 Wh/kg. In the Ultra-Luxury configuration, the concept can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in about 1.8 seconds thanks to a performance mode called Super Track.

Another version, using an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) setup, is claimed to offer up to 342 miles of electric driving range based on the CLTC testing cycle. The vehicle also features an intelligent EMB braking system that reacts in under 80 milliseconds with pressure control accuracy down to 0.1 MPa.

Despite being described as an SUV, the Nebula Next 01X has proportions closer to a four-door liftback with increased ground clearance. The design helps improve aerodynamics for longer driving range while keeping the cabin spacious. The interior is also designed to integrate with a broader “human–vehicle–home” digital ecosystem, connecting the car with smart devices and home systems.

Dreame’s entry into the automotive sector is built around a vertical integration strategy. The company is developing its own high-speed electric motors along with VLA+ autonomous driving algorithms. Manufacturing is expected to rely on a contract production model, with the goal of launching mass production by 2027.

Sales support is expected to leverage Dreame’s existing retail footprint, which includes roughly 6,500 stores and about 300 dedicated direct-sales centers planned over the next three years.

Based on the specifications released so far, the Nebula Next 01X is positioned alongside the latest high-performance electric vehicles. Its quad-motor powertrain produces a combined 1,876 horsepower (1,399 kW) and features independent cooling for each drive unit.

The body structure uses aerospace-grade steel rated at 2,000 MPa, and the chassis delivers torsional rigidity of about 33,000 lb-ft per degree, helping offset the weight of the advanced sensor suite required for its autonomous driving systems.
