Apocalypse Overloard Turns the Ram TRX Into a 702-HP Luxury Survival Machine for Seven

Wild Apocalypse Overloard combines supercharged HEMI power, armored styling, and luxury seating for seven passengers.

Apocalypse Overloard Turns the Ram TRX Into a 702-HP Luxury Survival Machine for Seven

Meet the Overloard, a heavily modified Ram 1500 TRX that looks ready to survive the end of the world. Built by SoFlo Customs, the beast keeps the supercharged HEMI V8 under the hood while transforming the original pickup into a futuristic seven-passenger monster with aggressive styling and luxury-level features.

The Overloard starts life as a Ram 1500 TRX, meaning it still packs the brutal 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI V8. Output remains at 702 horsepower, matching the previous-generation TRX setup before the updated 2026 version reportedly climbed to 777 horsepower.

But performance is only part of the story here.

Unlike anything Ram would likely ever build itself, the Overloard receives a completely redesigned body with a dramatic roofline stretching over both the cabin and the former truck bed. Even with the sloping design, the SUV-like interior still seats seven adults comfortably. According to SoFlo Customs, second-row captain’s chairs help maximize passenger comfort during long trips.

Based in South Florida, SoFlo Customs specializes in extreme 4x4 and 6x6 builds under the direction of founder Joseph Ghattas. The company claims to have built more than 10,000 custom vehicles over the years.

The Overloard itself receives an entirely fabricated body coated in Kevlar and finished in an all-black theme. A custom aluminum front end, widened fenders, and a massive eight-piece roof-mounted light bar give the truck an intimidating appearance that feels straight out of a post-apocalyptic movie.

A vented hood improves airflow and cooling for the supercharged engine, while side steps make climbing into the lifted machine easier. Inside, the truck gets a modern tech-heavy cabin featuring a 12-inch digital gauge cluster, head-up display, and a 12-inch touchscreen running the Uconnect 5 infotainment system.

There’s also a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, though many owners will probably prefer listening to the HEMI exhaust soundtrack instead.

Both front and rear passengers get heated and ventilated power-adjustable seats, while the leather-and-carbon steering wheel includes heating for colder weather. Carbon fiber trim pieces and adjustable pedals with memory settings also add to the luxury feel.

Interestingly, the truck gains a much taller stance without relying on a traditional suspension lift kit. Instead, careful body engineering and redesigned panels create the illusion of extra height while maintaining proper proportions and clearance.

The Overloard rides on massive 22-inch Black Apocalypse wheels wrapped in aggressive all-terrain Ridge Blade tires sized at 28x15.5R22.

This particular build isn’t exactly brand new, but it’s far from heavily used. The odometer currently shows 14,525 miles, and the custom TRX-based machine is listed for sale at $201,999.99.

Apparently, that’s the current price of survval if the apocalypse suddenly arrives unannounced. Some buyers will prbably think it’s worth every penny, especally with a supercharged HEMI still roaring under the hood.
