2027 Polestar 4 Arrives in the UK With Chassis Upgrades and a Starting Price of $75,000

Polestar has officially released pricing and specifications for the updated 2027 Polestar 4 in the United Kingdom, following a similar announcement from the brand's Australian division. The revised electric crossover is already listed on Polestar's UK website, bringing a number of engineering updates, new trim structures, and fresh pricing.

The biggest changes for the 2027 model year focus on refinement. Polestar has revised the suspension setup with new spring rates, retuned anti-roll bars, upgraded passive dampers, and polyurethane rebound stops that replace the previous internal rebound springs.

According to the automaker, these modifications improve ride quality and handling by delivering a more composed driving experience across a wider range of road conditions. The chassis updates apply to both the single-motor rear-wheel-drive model and the dual-motor all-wheel-drive version.

Polestar also highlights ongoing efforts to reduce the vehicle's environmental impact. The rear-motor variant carries a cradle-to-gate carbon footprint of 19.4 metric tons of CO2 equivalent, while the dual-motor model is rated at 20.3 metric tons. The company says the dual-motor version's footprint has been reduced by 1.1 metric tons since the model's original launch.

For 2027, Polestar has simplified the lineup with a revised trim strategy designed to create a clearer progression through the range. Visual differences help distinguish the models. Rear-motor versions feature black seatbelts and rotary controls, while dual-motor variants add black-and-gold accents inspired by Polestar's signature Swedish gold theme. Models equipped with the Performance Pack receive additional gold detailing throughout the cabin.

The Polestar 4 lineup is now offered in Business and Prime trims, both available with either the rear-motor or dual-motor powertrain.

Business models add a range of driver-assistance and convenience technologies, including Park Assist Pilot, Lane Change Assist, Pilot Assist, and rear privacy glass.

Stepping up to the Prime trim brings a significantly more luxurious equipment list. Highlights include 12-way power-adjustable front seats, heated and reclining rear seats, a rear-seat control screen, head-up display, Harman Kardon premium audio system, three-zone climate control, and a PM2.5 air-filtration system.

Additional features include illuminated Star Knit door panels, adaptive Pixel LED headlights, a hands-free power liftgate, and an illuminated Polestar badge.

Performance remains one of the Polestar 4's strongest selling points. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive version continues to be the quickest vehicle in the brand's crossover lineup, producing up to 536 horsepower and accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.8 seconds.

Buyers seeking maximum efficiency can opt for the rear-wheel-drive model, which generates 268 horsepower and reaches 62 mph in 6.9 seconds.

As for pricing, the 2027 Polestar 4 starts at £56,750 in the UK, which converts to approximately $75,000. The more powerful dual-motor variant begins at £63,750, or roughly $84,250 before any additional options or packages.
