2026 Ford F-450 Super Duty Power Stroke Dually Sells for $107,000 at Arkansas Dealer

There are pickup trucks, and then there are trucks like this F-450 Super Duty. With just 154 miles on the odometer, this nearly new dually recently sold at auction for $107,000. That puts the sale price only slightly above MSRP, making it a relatively strong proposition for a truck built around towing and heavy-duty work.

The dually configuration is all about stability when the truck is carrying a serious load. The wider rear footprint also gives it substantial lateral stability, helping it deal with crosswinds while reducing the effects of trailer-induced yaw and roll. When maximum towing stability is the priority, those extra rear wheels have a clear purpose.

I'm no pickup truck expert, but I believe GM were among the first, if not the first to come out with these types of setups in the early 1970s. According to Popular Mechanics, the 1973 Chevy C/K 30 "Big Doolie" was the first modern dual-rear-wheel pickup, together with its GMC-branded sibling. Those things could be optioned with a massive 454ci big block V8, while a 4WD setup became available in 1977. What about Ford, you ask? They didn't offer a dual rear wheel truck until 1980.

Ford is now firmly established in the heavy-duty dually segment, and this F-450 shows just how far the formula has evolved. It's built to maximize utility while packing an extensive list of equipment and upgrades.

On the outside, the truck wears Star White paint with black trim and comes equipped with a panoramic sunroof, keyless entry pad, LED lighting, cab marker lights, telescoping towing mirrors, tinted windows, power-deployable running boards, and a power-sliding rear window. There's also a spray-in bedliner, receiver hitch, and power dropdown tailgate with a retractable step.

The exterior package is finished with Blackout 22-inch Fuel Off-Road Arc wheels wrapped in 37x12.50-inch Radar Renegade R/T tires. A 3-inch ReadyLIFT front leveling kit has also been installed.

The cabin gets just as much attention, with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated and ventilated bucket seats, heated outboard seats, Black Onyx leather upholstery, Platinum Blue accents, and power-adjustable pedals. Adaptive cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, upfitter switches, a wireless charging pad, a head-up display, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system round out the equipment list.

Under the hood sits Ford's 6.7-liter High Output Power Stroke turbodiesel V8. It produces 500 horsepower and 1,200 lb-ft (1,627 Nm) of torque, with a 10-speed automatic transmission sending that output to either the rear wheels or all six wheels.

The F-450 was also sold with its original 19.5-inch Alcoa wheels, fitted with 225/70 Continental Conti HDR 5 tires. For an owner who intends to put this truck to serious towing use, returning to that original wheel-and-tire setup could make sense.
