Ferrari is recalling several 12Cilindri supercars after discovering window tint levels exceeding U.S. regulations.
Ferrari has announced a recall in the United States affecting the new Ferrari 12Cilindri due to overly dark window tint on certain vehicles.
Under U.S. safety regulations, automotive glass must allow at least 70 percent of visible light to pass through. According to regulators, the rear and side windows on some Ferrari 12Cilindri models do not meet that requirement.
Because of this compliance issue, the automaker has launched a recall covering 80 vehicles produced between October 4, 2024, and November 24, 2025.
Authorized Ferrari dealers will replace the affected windows with compliant glass at no cost to owners.
Owner notification letters are expected to begin going out on May 15. Ferrari noted that the recall was initiated as a precaution and that no customer complaints or related incidents have been reported so far.
