Chery Breaks Records: Over One Million Cars Sold in Five Months of 2025

The car manufacturer sold 63,169 new energy vehicles in May, nearly 50% more than the previous year.

Chery has set a new record: from January to May 2025, its global sales exceeded one million units, reaching 1,026,517 vehicles. This is 14% more than in the same period last year and marks the fastest growth in the brand's history.

Particularly notable is the progress in the NEV (new energy vehicles) segment: in May, sales amounted to 63,169 units (+47.7% year-on-year), and since the beginning of the year — 287,798 (+111.5%).

Chery continues to invest in innovation, improving electric vehicle platforms, safety systems, and intelligent driving technologies. The slogan "Not a Step Below the Line" reflects the brand's commitment to the highest protection standards, as confirmed by international tests.

Among the latest initiatives is a strategic partnership with the National University of Singapore (NTU) to jointly develop solutions in the field of smart and intelligent mobility. Moreover, the company announced an expansion of its model range: hybrids on the CSH platform and a new series of HIMLA pickups.
