This year's star of the show is the extreme version of the Mustang Mach-E, which looks like it replaces vitamins with steroids every morning.

The new car is called the Super Mustang Mach-E and is capable of generating a colossal downforce of 2778 kg. This is a record for Ford's electric demonstrators. Details about the technical specifications are still undisclosed, but one quick glance is enough to realize that it is a serious contender for success.

In outlines, the model still resembles the production Mach-E, but the key body elements have been completely reworked. It has a lowered stance, a massive front splitter, and a huge rear wing. Extended fenders hide wide Pirelli racing slicks, and the roofline appears lowered for better aerodynamics.

The Super Mustang Mach-E continues Ford's streak of electric projects at Pikes Peak. Last year, Romain Dumas, behind the wheel of the SuperVan 4.2, set a record in the open class and took second place overall. In 2024, he also won driving the electric monster F-150 Lightning SuperTruck with 2200 horsepower and downforce of 2.7 tonnes at a speed of 240 km/h.

Although Ford has not officially confirmed cooperation, it is likely that the Austrian team STARD, a regular partner of the brand in extreme EV projects, was involved again. If the Super Mustang is close in potential to previous prototypes, its power may also exceed 2000 horsepower.
