Japanese company Honda has officially unveiled the affordable full-size electric crossover P7. As reported by the manufacturer's Chinese division, the novelty has an engine with up to 476 horsepower and a range of up to 650 km.

It is known that the Honda P7 is an exact copy of the recently introduced S7 model produced by GAC-Honda. Like its "sibling," this crossover features a rectangular exterior design, high window line, and sloping rear window. The difference is only noticeable in the front.

The dimensions of the novelty are 4750*1930*1625 mm with a wheelbase of 2930 mm. The P7 interior differs little from the S7. The car features a high-mounted digital instrument panel, two touch screens with diagonals of 12.8 and 10.25 inches. It also includes a heads-up display on the windshield and an option to replace the rearview mirrors with cameras.

The standard equipment includes 19-inch wheels, a panoramic roof, Bose audio system, automatic parking system, surround-view cameras, and electrically adjustable seats. Under the hood, the P7 may have a single electric motor with 272 hp or two units with a total power of 476 hp. The all-wheel-drive version is capable of accelerating to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds.

The crossover's battery pack is 89.9 kWh, allowing a range of 650 km in the rear-wheel-drive version and 620 km in the all-wheel-drive model on a single charge. The first sales will start in May. The P7 will enter the Chinese market at a price starting from $35,700.
