Aston Martin has unveiled the updated Vantage S, an even more powerful and dynamic version of its famous sports car. Even the base Vantage model has always been renowned for its outstanding features, but now engineers have pushed it to the limit.

Under the hood of the new model is the familiar 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 borrowed from AMG. However, it now produces 671 hp and 800 Nm of torque. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes just 3.4 seconds, and the car reaches 200 km/h in 10.1 seconds. The top speed is limited to 325 km/h, an impressive figure for a car of this class.

But power is not the only improvement. The suspension has received upgraded Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers. Engineers have increased the front rigidity for better handling, while the rear has been softened to improve comfort at low speeds.

The gearbox has also been upgraded: its mounting rigidity has been reduced by 10%, and the rear subframes are now directly fixed to the body without rubber bushings. This should make the throttle response even sharper.

Externally, the Vantage S stands out not only with its 'S' badges but also with a massive spoiler spanning the full width of the body. It generates an additional 44 kg of downforce at high speeds. The underbody has also been reworked, increasing the overall downforce to 111 kg. Naturally, the braking system received corresponding upgrades.

The interior is trimmed with Alcantara and carbon, with embroidered 'S' logos adorning the seats and panels.

The price in the UK starts at £170,000 (approximately $230,000).
