Mercedes-Benz unveiled the Vision V premium minivan concept in Shanghai.

At the international auto show in Shanghai, Mercedes-Benz showcased its new development — the Vision V minivan concept. Designers made the body sleeker to improve aerodynamic performance. The model features an extended wheelbase and reduced overhangs.

Interior: technology and comfort

The developers paid special attention to the interior. The front features a multifunctional Superscreen panel with three displays, and the uniquely shaped seats are complemented by an aromatization system. Panoramic glass surfaces and dynamic lighting create a special atmosphere.

The rear area, referred to by the creators as a lounge space, is separated from the driver's compartment by a transparent partition. Seats with multiple settings transform into full-fledged sleeping spaces. The trim is made from white leather, and decorative elements combine natural wood and polished aluminum.

Entertainment technologies

An LED chandelier is mounted on the ceiling, and a 65-inch 4K screen is embedded into the glass partition. The image is formed using seven projectors, which also project content onto the side windows, providing a full immersion effect.

The production version of the electric minivan on the Van.EA platform is expected in 2026 — production will begin at the same time.
